Introduction

This documents sets forth the privacy policy in relation to information collected by Rezorce in relation to any purpose, or otherwise in connection with its business.

Rezorce provides a range of background verification and allied services for its clients and customers through various means which may include -

  • Through the online web application located at rezorce.com and related sub-domain
  • Through the collection of documents from clients and customers through electronic means
  • Through APIs or other equivalent software systems operated or authorized by Rezorce’s clients and customers
  • Through communication and correspondence, physical and electronic, with educational institutions, universities and companies

Rezorce provides these services at the express request of its clients and customers which may include educational institutions, universities, companies or individuals.

Users of this service may have been directed to do so by Rezorce’s clients and customers either directly or by parties authorized by such entities by any of the methods listed above. Users should read this policy carefully to ensure that they are aware of the manner and purpose in which Rezorce collects, stores, processes and uses information from them

Data Collection

Documents pertaining to the background verfication process shared with Rezorce may include -

  • Government issued identification documents
  • Address information
  • Education qualifications
  • Previous employment credentials
  • References This data will be used for the purpose of providing Rezorce’s clients and customer with background verification and other allied services. This data will not be exported or shared with anyone outside of Rezorce except for the completion of the background verification process. Additionally, while interacting with the platform, other details such as client device information, browser type and time of request may be logged. This data give insight into our user’s usage patterns and helps Rezorce improve its service. The entity or individual on whose direction you have been asked to provide data to Rezorce either through the platform or any other means may have sought your authorization to share your data with Rezorce. Alternatively, Rezorce may seek your authorization and consent to obtain and use your data and shall specify the Purpose for which the Data is sought. However, if
  • you have not received or accepted any authorization from Rezorce or any of its partners or clients and customers on whose direction you have been asked to provide any Data to Rezorce
  • you do not consent to the use of your Data by Rezorce
  • do not consent to the manner in which Data is shared with Rezorce please do not share any Data with Rezorce or its authorized agents through any means. Do not proceed any further on this platform. Continued usage of this platform is based on the assumption that you have consented to and provided authorization either directly to Rezorce or any of its partners or its clients and customers. Rezorce takes a proactive approach to protecting the privacy and Data shared voluntarily by Users to enable it to complete the Reason for the Data Sharing.

Use of Data Collected

Data collected by Rezorce falls into two categories -

  • Purpose driven Data sharing which may include documents listed in the Data Collection section of this policy
  • Usage related data such as the duration of usage, time of usage, client device information, browser type and other analytic data metrics

The first category of data is purely collected for completing the background verification process as initiated with Rezorce by its clients and customers. Further detail on processing and storage is given in this policy. This category of data is used only for providing the background verification and other allied services to our clients and customers.

Rezorce also does not collect any Data from the first category without due notification or authorization from the Users.

Rezorce does not sell any Data to any third party. Neither is any Data shared with any third parties for purposes of marketing or otherwise.

The second category of data is collected purely of enhancing and improving experience offered to clients and customers.

Data Sharing

Rezorce does not share any Data collected with any third party except for the express purpose of completion of the background verification process. The Data collected might be shared with authorized employees, officers, agents and directors partners and other affiliated and unaffiliated third party service providers working on Rezorce’s behalf to provide the background verification service by retrieving relevant data or eliciting response.

Utmost security measures are deployed to protect the privacy of the User and all Data shared with any entity or individual is done strictly done on a need-to-know basis.

Data Retention

Rezorce takes a proactive approach to Data storage. Data is stored on Rezorce’s storage servers only for such a time as to fulfill the background verification process. Such duration may vary by the type of background verification initiated by Rezorce’s clients and customers. By providing Data to Rezorce, you agree to Rezorce’s storing such Data for the duration of the background verification process.

Please note that Rezorce may store Data beyond the duration required for completing the background verification process in the event it is mandated or obliged to do so under any applicable law.

User Rights

Users who have shared their Data with Rezorce for the purpose of background verification can at any time wist to revoke their authorization to the usage of their Data for the background verification process.

Users who wish to do so can contact Rezorce’s Grievance Officer through the client or customer of Rezorce who initiated the background verification stating that they wish to revoke consent. All data will be wiped from Rezorce servers within a period of 12 working hours.

Please note that all Data collected will be automatically purged from Rezorce servers as soon as the background verification reaches its logical conclusion.

Cookies and JavaScript

Please be aware that Rezorce’s websites or communications may contain links to partner sites that are governed by their own Privacy Policies and not this policy. We urge our Users to review the privacy policy of each website they visit before disclosing any personal information. This is good practice even while interacting with any web site on the World Wide Web.

Exceptions to the Authorization Limitations and this Policy

Rezorce may disclose Information if required to do so by law or upon the advice of its professional advisors, such as legal counsel, that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to -

  • court orders, or other legal process, or third-party rights owners; or
  • law enforcement officer and/or Government agencies mandated under law to obtain such information

Provided that Rezorce shall provide prior intimation of such disclosure to you, to such extent as may be permissible under applicable law. As a User, you understand and agree that you assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the platform, the internet generally, and the documents you post or access and for your conduct on and off the website. In case of an amalgamation, merger, acquisition, or business transfer, Rezorce will transfer all your Information to the acquirer.
